My Final Year Project Survey, Please Help!

So sorry that this is a food-unrelated post. I'm very busy with my projects and final year project. I need to do a survey regarding my final year project. It's actually a plus size women apparel website. This website will sells all types of trendy clothes plus other features available. Features are like allowing users to design their clothes on the website (Ie: Choose, the material, color, etc).

I know that there aren't any websites in Malaysia that sells full figure women clothes. I really do hope to see more shops in shopping malls that sells trendy and appealing clothes for full figure women. I know I got my mom and my aunties who have difficulties in finding clothes that they want because all you can see in shopping malls are clothes with stylish/trendy/up-to-date designs which their size label could be XS to a merely XL. The XL are not even a normal XL that you can get in other countries.

I want to do this survey so that I can know what are the women's opinions. In that way, I wish to develop a website which can suits all the users who uses it and make it an interesting website. Here is the survey, Plus Size Women Apparel Survey

I really do hope that you guys could help me out. Thanks a lot! :D

Korean B.B.Q at Low Yat Plaza

It's been quite some time since I last went to a Korean restaurant. Indeed, I don't usually frequent to Korean Restaurants. A friend of mine asked me to join her to have dinner at a Korean Restaurant one day. I felt quite weird cause I don't recall seeing any Korean Restaurant in Low Yat. So up we went and I saw a small but spacious Korean Restaurant located on the lower ground floor which is behind the Baoz outlet.

There were lots of food pictures from the menu attached on the wall. One thing that I noted is this restaurant don't serves complimentary appetisers like other Korean restaurants normally did. Only some of the food that you order will be served with a few appetisers. One of my friend wanted to order a snack. She asked if we would like to try fried spicy rice cake and of course we agreed to it. Known as a popular street food snack in Korea, "Tteokbokki" (떡볶기) (long cylinder shaped rice cakes) are usually stir fried with carrots, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and cucumbers together with gochujang sauce.

"Gochujang" (고추장) sauce is actually a kind of fermented red pepper paste which is made of red chili powder, glutinous rice powder together with some soybeans, and salt. Some will add in honey, or sugar too. You can also see "Gochujang" being used when you're eating mixed rice "Dolsot Bibimbap" (돌솥 비빔밥) where you have a hot stone bowl with rice, different veges, meat and a raw egg accompanied with a bowl of "Gochujang" sauce for you to add in according to your own preference.

The "Tteokbokki" that I tried here is actually stir fried together with some bean sprouts and onions together with the "Gochujang" sauce. Although it sounded very simple, trust me it is very delicious~! The spiciness with a little sweetness of the sauce, springy rice cakes with crunchy bean sprouts, plus aromatic spring onions and sesame seeds were just heavenly good. This plate of "Tteokbokki" costed RM10.

My two other friends ordered the "Jeyuk Bap which costed RM12 per plate. It was actually pork stir fried with bean sprouts and other ingredients. This is another very nice dish. Another lip smacking good dish I would say. Not sure if the cook also uses "Gochujang" sauce in this dish or not.

Shujin and another friend of mine ordered "Sundubu Jjigae" (순두부 찌개). Priced at RM15 per portion, it actually comes with 3 appetisers.

Kimchi Cabbage (Baechu Kimchi)

I guess this is called "Baechu Kimchi" cause it refers to Whole Cabbage Kimchi and it looked the same with the photo that I saw from one of the website.

Kimchi Radish (Ggakdugi)

Anchovies and Fragrant Roasted Peanuts

"Sundubu" is actually a spicy stew with tofu, crabs, clams, veges, and an egg. According to the website I read, it says that red pepper paste a.k.a "Gochujang" is also added into the soup. This one is less spicy and not so salty compared to the one I had. But, the eggy soup was nice and aromatic. :)

I also ordered a soup with rice called "Doenjang Jjigae" (된장찌개) which is priced at RM15. "Doenjang" was actually a type of fermented soybean paste. It is being cooked as soup with ingredients like tofu, vegetables, clams, and crabs. I find it very tasty and a little more spicy than the "Sundubu" with very aromatic fermented soybean. But be warned cause I find it getting saltier and saltier each time I sip the soup down to my throat. I guess it's because of the fermented soy bean but no doubt that the soup goes very well with my bowl of white rice. I'm missing the soup right now cause it tasted very delish. :)

Strange right cause we didn't order anything related to the restaurant's name? (BBQ) :P

I'm actually quite satisfied with the food served here. It's actually better than the one that I visited in Mid Valley. The cook of this B.B.Q Korean restaurant is actually a lady. I was wondering if she's a local or a Korean cause she has a very healthy and fair skin. While I was having my meal, a man walked into the restaurant. He began to speak Korean to the lady. Their conversations were purely in Korean language. So, the owner and the cook of the restaurant is a Korean. :) If given a chance to makan at Low Yat I would love to go back to this restaurant.

Some of the websites that I find it quite interesting to know more about Korean food are:

A Scent Meme On What Perfumes I Love and Wear

I know that I've been dragging for a very long time to do a meme on this. A Whiff of Lemongrass tagged me on this. I know I've been tagged years a month ago, I finally got Shujin to help me to take some photos of my perfumes. I know I'm not rich still a student, therefore could only afford to buy a few. I only have very few bottles of perfumes and I was amazed when reading Lyrical's one as she has over 20 bottles of perfumes! I still have a long long way to catch up in order to be like her. :)

Well, here are a few of the photos that Shujin and I have experimented on how to take bottle photos. He said we should try to off the lights (room's light) and asked for a torchlight and an empty white paper. We then placed the paper on a chair and then put the a bottle of perfume on the paper. He asked me to hold the paper so that it can become a background for the bottle of perfume. Place the torchlight (switched on) behind the paper that I was holding. Well, we did adjust here and there. Trying to find the correct angle of the perfume for the correct angle of light. I was quite happy with this experiment and am happy about the photos too. Thanks Shujin!

Well, I remember that I started to like Truth from Calvin Klein when me and my cousin sis saw a mini bottle of Truth sample from a magazine. We bought that magazine because there was a free sample of perfume! =) After that, I bought 1 big bottle of Truth. Haha, funny or not? So, giving out samples of products in a mag or something works for me. :P

Then came one time when my aunt gave me a cute bottle of Dazzling Gold from Estee Lauder for one of my birthday. I really really like it very much!!! The scent makes me feel so elegant (although I'm not). :P This scent made me felt very comfortable everytime I put them on. Then, when I finished using it I became very sad cause I can't put them on anymore! Haha, but then I bought a bottle of Dazzling Gold months ago cause I really miss this scent very very much. Up til now, I'm still very in love with this scent. ;)

Then, on my 21st birthday I got a bottle of True Star perfume from Shujin. I'm so happy cause at that time True Star was just being released, I guess? I've gotten the sample before and it smelled wonderful! Erm, I like True Star because of the scent not because of Beyonce. Haha, although I love Beyonce but I certainly like the scent of True Star.

Two more perfume that I forgot to ask Shujin to take photos are Moschino's Couture and Body Shop's The Spirit of Moonflower. I loved Moschino's Couture cause everytime when I spray it onto my body I can feel the sexiness of this perfume! LOL. And as for the Spirit of Moonflower, it was very light and refreshing. It's very suitable if you just want to apply something that has some light flowery kinda scent to go out for yumcha session or just a normal "girls meet up".

Well, I know that I'm like an old lady who loves perfumes that are existed years ago. But I still love the scent very much. Maybe when I go work in future I will dare to go to those fragrance counters to try out all the new ones and buy them~! Hohoho, I'm not going to tag anyone for this cause I don't know who to tag about this topic. =)

Food Bloggers Gathering at Sandias, Bukit Damansara

After a long time of waiting, the day finally came! It was the first time for me to meet all of the food bloggers for the first time ever! I was really excited that I'm actually quite blur that night. If you notice me, I only post food, meme and nothing else. So, there'll only be food post and no bloggers' pics. (I only took a few pics with some of the bloggers~) :'(

Elina actually asked me if I know anyone and I quickly said Mei Yen! Haha, I think I can only recognise Mei Yen jie cause she posted her pics. :P I think I'm the latest who reached there for that night. When I walked in I was like...oh my...Who is who??? @_@ At first, I was like...where's Mei Yen jie???

I walked straight inside the restaurant and there she was. A very elegant and pretty lady dressed in a lovely + sexy black dress. =) So I went to say hi Mei Yen~! And she was like...errrr...you ar? Then I said I'm food cookies! She was like who? My heart started to breaks...haha..(exaggerating!) I replied and said "food-cookies...cookies cream???" Then she was like..oh! Food-cookies, hi! LOL. I could also recognise a few of the bloggers like wmw, kampungboycitygal, and Jackson!

Most of the tables were filled with all the bloggers. There's only a few tables with 1 sit left. Luckily Elina tried to search for a place for me. Thank you so much Fezzaboy for moving one seat up so that me and Shujin could sit together! Thanks~! ;)

Well, we were so blurred and "Good Food. Good Life." told us that we could get some drinks at the mini bar. It was nice to know him and his gf. :) So Shujin took some drinks. I'm told that it's like some cocktail. There's a few slices of grapes and 1 slice of lime in the drink which is actually called "Sky High".

Then there was also one drink called Star Dust. I didn't know how to order that drink so I just pointed and said I would like to have the 1 with starfruit one top of the glass. LOL. The pretty Martell lady then said oh, Star Dust. This drink has a very aromatic jasmine tea smell.

Shujin also grabbed 1 glass of Martell that night.

Oh, there was also a complimentary chocolate on the table and a goodie bag for everyone.

Appetiser for the night, Taquitos Fritos. I was actually quite hungry that night so I started eating them straight. Hmm, taste wise...got nothing much to comment about it. I wasn't really expecting the food to be superb cause my main purpose was to meet with all the bloggers~! =)

Another appetiser, Sopa de Calabaza Con Salsa. At first I thought it was some kinda soup with chicken broth and chicken chunks cause I could taste the "chicken-ness" from the soup. I just took a few spoons from Shujin soup. I think it's not creamy enough. I didn't really like soup which is not hot enough as it was given to us while it's a little warm only. Can't expect much huh as there were sooo many ppl that night.

Next, Pollo a la Castellana. The chicken was quite overcooked and not tender. The vegetables served were tasteless.

Pescado a la Veracruzana. At first I thought the brownish looking tiny thing placed on the plate was some part of meat from the fish. But I'm wrong! It was actually grilled banana~! Haha, all the people on the table also thought that it was some fish egg but it's not~!

Ermm, the sauce of the fish was quite normal. The vegetables on the plate were really really tasteless! Ok, I know...stop commenting. Haha

The dessert for the night, Postre Helado de Eimon. The strawberry sauce was too sweet for me.

Although not really happy with the food, but hey! I get to meet with all of the food bloggers~! ^.^ After the gathering I decided to join the rest for the second round to Attic. But, it's all fated that I should go home cause I couldn't manage to follow lyrical's car. We couldn't turn over to the other lane quick enough as there's many cars coming from the back! A car even honked us cause we were trying to turn to his lane! My hp was dead...I did not save any other hp numbers to Shujin's hp. Well, I admit I was quite "stupiak". But nevermind, I'm sure there's another time~!

Anyway, nice to meet all of the bloggers~! I'm truly happy cause my wish to meet the bloggers especially boo_licious has finally came true! Can't wait for the next round! =)

Jogoya Session at Starhill KL - PART IV

Well, this is the last part for my Jogoya Session. I didn't try all of their desserts there and was kinda regretted that I had so little desserts, but I'm still happy during the eating session. I really had fun with all the experiences at Jogoya. =)

Well, after tasting their incredibly aromatic cute little fresh coconuts (photos not taken), my friend and I was looking for something else to drink. We walked around the beverage section and saw one of the a staff making ice blended. There were different kinds of shakes and smoothies.

I took a very nice blue-ish colored lime shake. I tell you, it's very nice for those who love sour drinks. Their lime shake was so so nice and refreshing! The lime's aromatic with the sourish and sweet taste was just so cool.

We then ventured again to the beverage section. This time, I decided to try out their mango smoothie. You can really taste the richness of the mango flavor. Very very aromatic.

Someone ordered grilled mochi a.k.a Japanese sticky rice cake. It's the same like "chinese muachi" that we can get at the pasar malam (night market) here, but they grill them. To be honest, I prefer our chinese version cause I think I'm used to the soft version (tasted more delicate) versus the grilled (a little hard) one.

I don't know who took this Cheese Cake also as I remembered I only took 2 things from the dessert section, but it doesn't matter cause I'll eat it anyway, desserts leh!!! LOL. Ok, their cheese cake is not the best for me. I would say that their cheese cake was cheesy enough but not tasty enough. Don't know how to describe it. Just that the texture wasn't moist and firm enough.

Another dessert is the Tiramisu. Ermm, I would say that their Tiramisu was very ordinary. After trying out Italiannies' Tiramisu, I would say that there's nothing to comment much about this.

The 2 items that I took were the Mini Blueberry Cheese Tart and Chocolate Balls.

After trying their cakes, I wasn't giving much hope for the tarts and chooclate balls. But I was wrong! I took the chocolate balls cause one of my friend told me they were yummy. I tried and I do agree that they were chocolate-y. It wasn't too sweet, there were chocolate rice outside and the chocolate texture inside was very firm and moist. :)

This is my favourite dessert for the night. I tell you, their blueberry cheese tart was very delish!!! The cheese was soo cheesylicious and creamy, the blueberry wasn't too sour, and their tart's texture was very very crunchy and not hard~ I loved it!!! ^.^

Well, it was a thrill experience at Jogoya. It would be better if they could serves more Japanese desserts. A dessert lover here. :)

Jogoya Session at Starhill KL - PART III

Well, I've covered on some of the appetisers and random food that you can get in Jogoya. It's time for their VIP items. Muahaha (Evil Laugh)...I'm quite happy that we get the VIP ticket to order the available VIP items on each of the food section. But I think we forgot to take all photos of the VIP items. Hence, only a few will be posted here.

First to come, VIP King Crab soup. To be honest, nothing special about this soup. The soup tasted sweet, with king crab flavor and crab meat chunks in it. This soup item didn't get my vote.

My favorite VIP item, fish!!! I don't know what fish is this. Is it pomfret fish? All I know was I'm too busy eating it. We were given one big whole fish! I tell you, the fish was definitely fried to perfection. It was very crunchy on the outside, they gave (add seasons to) the fish ngam ngam enough flavor for you to taste without losing the fish's freshness. The meat was succulent, sweet (from the meat) and fresh. Love it!

Next, VIP Sashimi with Fishroe. I forgot what the black colored little bubbles-like thingy called (on the photo). Sashimi, again very fresh and nice. The fishroe were fresh and tasted great too! Got nothing to comment about it cause i loved both of them. Maybe just that sometimes can't really tahan the fishroe cause too salty. :P

VIP Eel wrapped with King Crab meat. I love the eel cause it was grilled perfectly. But, don't quite like this cause I think that the eel kinda conquered the dish as I can't really taste the crab meat much. The eel's flavor overpowered the crab meat. I kinda like the black beans though. LOL

Last but not least, VIP Salmon with Cheesy King Crab. Love this dish! The grilled salmon tasted very nice. The one in the middle of the pic (next to the salmon), was actually a mixture of king crab meat with other ingredients and then top with cheese, "kemudian bawa pergi bakar". Opps, why I suddenly write in Malay. Sorry, was kinda koo-koo cause thinking about the food while blogging it. :P The baked cheese with king crab mixture was very delish! Very cheesy indeed, together with the crab meat was actually superb. Love it.

Well, I'm not sure if this is another VIP item. But, I think it is? Not quite sure. This is a very nice cake which is beautifully decorated. It's actually green tea cake. Ermm, the decoration was nice. Taste wise, I don't think it's my cup of tea type of cake. The green tea were too much which makes my tounge tells me that it's a little bitter leh.

Jogoya Session at Starhill KL - PART II

In Part II of Jogoya Session, there'll be a random on what I've eaten. I was quite blur in searching for food. Don't know where to start from after the appetiser part. So, I hopped around from one section to another section and get the food that attracts me. Actually there are still plenty food that didn't manage to take photos.

Special Tofu. I forgot the name of it but it's definitely delicious. It's pretty cute by making them (using jelly containers) into flower shaped tofu. It was like some kind of seafood tofu in eggy sauce.

Phoenix ball. I took these because of the almond pieces! LOL. This is actually fish paste being shaped into balls and coated with almond pieces. The taste was pretty good. Crunchy and aromatic almond together with tasty fish paste definitely is a pretty good match.

Prawn Tenpura (Ebi tenpura) was one of my favourites. :) No doubt they were really crunchy and light on the outside. Inside were still hot and the prawns were very fresh~ Love it very much.

"Fish Tenpura" I call it. But it's like those that you can get when you order fish and chip. I'm being lured in taking them while I'm taking my favourite ebi tenpura. They do taste much more better than those fake fish and chip. The meat were tender and fresh. Outside were crunchy as well.

There were aso fried durian but I forgot to try as was busy with other sections. :( Felt quite sad that I didn't manage to take some of the fried durian.

I'm not sure if this is called pocket money or money pocket eh? Well, I forgot what was inside these pocket money already but I'm sure that it tasted nice. Forgot what's inside but remember that it tasted good??? I'm so weird.

Cheese Baked Escargots. Disappointed with it. Shouldn't have take so many of them. The cheese were so hard and the taste wasn't really nice. It's cold and the escargot wasn't so fresh. A big NO to these. Felt bad for Shujin as he loves escargots. Maybe we should head to Victoria Station for some nice escargots. :P

I made a claypot sort of thing for myself. Wee, there's mussels and vege in it. There's a few sauce to choose from when you choose the ingredients of claypot being placed at a section. Oh, there's a few mini stoves being placed on your table. So you just add in sauce into the claypot of raw food before you bring it back to your table to be cooked in the mini stove.

These mussels were really fresh. :)

Grilled eel. One of my friend's favourite. Not sure if he really loves it so much or he just loves taking this so much. LOL Cause he ordered this grilled eel for uncountable times that night. These eel tasted awesome~!!! I really love it. With the sauce and sesame on top of the eel, it was just so delish.

Last but not least, special soup. Don't know what's the name of it so just call it as special soup. Hehe. I need to tell you something, the bread/pastry on top of the cup is so so crunchy and it's freshly baked from the oven!!! I really love the bread/pastry. You can smell a strong scent of butter in the bread/pastry, it's so rich and it tasted a little sweet too. The soup in the cup were very creamy and flavorful. Dip the bread/pastry into the soup is just so yummy. I'm missing the bread/pastry right now.

Jogoya Session at Starhill KL - PART I

Sorry guys, this is another "long-time-ago" post. Went to Jogoya after working for SRG. It's like a after-work eating session to us. Yes, it's a very expensive eating session indeed. But, despite the $$$ we get for and the fact that I really really wanted to go Jogoya so badly, it's something that I can't miss isn't it? ;)

Well, we reached there about approximately 5.45pm? My friends were waiting at the Jogoya's entrance. And we are still waiting for others' arrival. When everyone reached, we were given two big round tables that are available inside those see through bamboo look-a-like walls. It's like we're being isolated from the outside world a.k.a others customers in Jogoya and those food sections.

We were the earliest group to reach there that day. I assume that's because it's a weekday? Without wasting any time, we looked through the items being displayed on the table.

Some Jogoya bloggers will mention about this, bull shaped metal clips. Number of your table is attached on the metal clips. What do you do with these metal clips thingy? Bring it along with you when you're visiting those different food sections. Most of the food sections have something that will be cook by the chefs there on the spot. So, if you want something to be cook, simply throw put the metal clip onto the respective bowl available. The chefs there will collect and cook the items you asked for. Your food will be serve to you and the metal clip will be given back to you so that you could continue making orders.

Since we have a total of 21 people going there, they gave my friend (the one who booked for the dinner) a VIP membership card. Therefore, we got the chance to try out the VIP items from any of the section. I can't wait to venture into their food sections at that time. Why? Cause it costs RM88++ per person leh, not cheap you know. Plus, I get to try their VIP items~! =)

So, which shall I start first??? I'm so into going back to Jogoya right now as I think that there's a wide selection of food, and they're all fresh!!! I got loads of items that I didn't get to try on that day too. I think I will divide this Jogoya post into 4 different sections. Part I will be appetisers, Part II will be random items, Part III will be the VIP items, and last but not least Part IV for drinks and desserts. Was kinda sad cause did not take many other food photos. But, never mind. @_@

Due to CNY is coming that time, we got ourselves a complimentary Yee Sang~!!! (Yeah~!) The plate of Yee Sang looked rather colorful to me. I did not any good feeling on that plate of Yee Sang. As usual, all the good wishes and bla bla bla are being thrown during the "lou sang" session.

After the "Lou Sang" session, each of use took some of the Yee Sang and, oh my goodness~! Their Yee Sang were delicious~ Trust me, I did not expect their Yee Sang to be yummy. Really! LOL, but their Yee Sang did give me a good sign that their good are delish.

So, took 4 bowls of appetisers to try out as they looked cute and refreshing. First was the Kimchi Tako. Basically, there were octopus mixed with some kimchi. If you ask me I really don't know how it tasted. I think it's pretty much common hence couldn't remember if it's tasty or not.

Next, King Crab Mushroom. I must say that the mixture of the king crab with the mushroom pieces, with some nuts were actually quite nice. The aromatic mushroom and nuts helps to bring out more flavor to it. :)

We also took a bowl of the Mynmar King Crab. Well, it's nothing special. Just that there were some pineapples with crab meat in the mini bowl. Nothing spectacular about it.

Last but not least, Sweet and sour Clams. Although they sliced the clams into quite thin slices, but I find the overall of it was quite nice. A little bit of sweet and sour mixed with the thinly sliced clams were actually quite refreshing and yummy. Definitely a good appetiser. :)

Now, my all time favourite and a "can't miss it" item whenever I'm in a Japanese buffet restaurant, Sashimi!!! I tell you, their sashimi were really FRESH and tasty~! Dip them into the wasabi, yummylicious~ I'm in heaven.

I also took some prawns as they do looked tempting and fresh to me. No doubt, they were really really sweet, succulent, and crunchy. Oishii~!
